The objective of Toys for Tots is to help needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

The Muscular Dystrophy AssociationMDA Logo
A voluntary health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. Nurses PRN is a sponsor for both the annual telethon and camps.


Berks Women In CrisisBerks Women In Crisis
Berks Women In Crisis provides free emergency shelter for single women and women with children in a communal living environment. The shelter can accommodate 26 women and children and provides a safe place for victims of domestic violence to live for up to 30 days. In addition to shelter, we provide supportive counseling, advocacy to women and their children in an effort to educate, empower, and enhance the quality of life as they seek safety. The shelter location is confidential and secure, with 24-hour staff coverage.

 


Special OlympicsSpecial Olympics
Special Olympics is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 30 Olympic-type summer and winter sports.
